Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions?
We've Got Answers.

Everything you need to know about playing, eating, drinking, and connecting at MoodSwing.

Do I need a reservation to play pickleball? +

We strongly recommend booking your court in advance through PodPlay — especially for evenings and weekends, which fill up fast. Walk-ins are welcome whenever space allows, and our front desk team can usually find you a slot within an hour.

Is equipment provided, or should I bring my own? +

We provide complimentary paddles and balls for every court reservation — just show up and play. If you've got your own gear, bring it. Most regulars eventually find a paddle they love and stick with it.

Are all skill levels welcome? +

Absolutely. Whether you've been playing for years or you're picking up a paddle for the first time, MoodSwing is built for everyone. Our open-play sessions are organized by skill level, and we offer beginner clinics so first-timers can learn the ropes in a relaxed environment.

Do you offer lessons or coaching? +

Yes — we host private and group lessons led by experienced coaches. From "I've never held a paddle" to "I want to compete," we'll match you with the right instructor. Reach out to our team or check the schedule on our booking platform for upcoming clinics.

Can I host a private event here? +

Definitely. From birthdays and team-building outings to corporate events and brand activations, our spaces scale from intimate huddles of 10 to full-venue buyouts of 200+. Visit our Private Events page for details, or get in touch through our contact form to start planning.

What's on the food and drink menu? +

Our brick-oven kitchen turns out pizzas, fresh salads, and shareable plates designed to keep you fueled between matches. The bar program features craft cocktails, local beers on tap, premium wines, and zero-proof options. Daily happy hour from 3-6pm with rotating specials, and all-day happy hour every Wednesday.

What are your hours? +

Monday – Friday: 9am – 10pm
Saturday – Sunday: 8am – 10pm

Holiday hours may vary — check our Instagram or call ahead if you're planning a visit around a holiday.

Is there parking on-site? +

Yes — we have free on-site parking for guests. The lot is right next to the entrance, and overflow street parking is available nearby. We also encourage rideshares, biking, and walking when the weather cooperates.

Are kids welcome? +

Kids are welcome during all daytime and dinner hours. We host family-friendly play sessions and clinics for younger players. After 9pm, the venue shifts to a 21+ environment for our late-night programming.

What's your cancellation policy? +

Court reservations can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of your reservation may be subject to a fee. For private events, see your contract for the specific cancellation terms or reach out to our events team.
